More About Me

Born and raised in Rochester, NY, Kristina von Kessel visited Longboat Key for over 20 years before permanently relocating to Sarasota in 2000. Prior to making the move to the beautiful Gulf Coast, she lived and worked in Germany for eight years.

Tina earned a Bachelor's degree in Art History from New York's Columbia University, before obtaining an MBA in Finance from Schiller International University in Heidelberg, Germany. Her impressive career includes tenure as a financial analyst with Xerox, creating a solid professional foundation for her transition to the real estate industry.

Throughout her more than 2 decades as a Sarasota resident, Tina has seen the rapid development and exciting growth of this unique and sought-after region. She has developed an in-depth understanding of the many vibrant communities, from the golf course to the waterfront, and prides herself on offering personalized attention to detail to every one of her customers. With over 16 years of real estate experience, Tina makes herself available before, during and after the transaction to ensure her customer's unequivocal confidence in their important decisions.

Fluent in German and extremely well-traveled, she is able to communicate effectively with homebuyers and sellers from all over the world – understanding their unique needs when navigating the Gulf Coast lifestyle options. Tina describes Sarasota as the perfect place to live, where the outdoors can be enjoyed all year. As a former college tennis player and avid walker, she believes the active lifestyle in this region is contagious. Embracing Sarasota's charitable proclivity, Tina is a proud supporter of the Joey Gratton Foundation and The Boys and Girls Clubs of Sarasota. Having raised her two children in Sarasota has given Tina a good understanding of the school system and family life in the area, a significant advantage for families looking to relocate here. She looks forward to sharing her passion for Sarasota with others, and sees real estate as the ideal way to do that.
